The concept came from my own experiences starting my own business facing the challenges, credibility, recognition.

This is my second business, my first business is a Real estate owning a Real Estate Investment company. Before becoming an entrepreneur I worked in the medical field as a medical biller/collector and business administration.

WHAT SPECIFIC ADVICE WOULD YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG WOMEN WHO WOULD LIKE TO BECOME AN ENTREPRENEUR?

My advice to young women would be to take the risk and take the plunge. It is scary and nerve-racking to start a business but with persistence, you will succeed. The more time and effort you put to grow your business the more rewards you will benefit in the end.

MY GREATEST OBSTACLE AND HOW I DEALT WITH IT:

My greatest obstacle is finding funding and starting a business with almost no money. I used the barter system to exchange services. I grew my network and utilized that to exchange services with little money or no money.

MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

My proudest accomplishment was when my listeners, my clients thanked me for what I taught them. I have been interviewed by publications and other shows and knowing I gave the public resources to start their business and get the thank you from them.

HOW I BLEND LIFE AND WORK TO CREATE THE LIFE I WANT:

Finding a balance between business, personal life and family life is challenging. I find happiness in simple things such as spending time with family, watching a movie and being around friends that have the same mindset and energy.

I AM INSPIRED BY:

Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Corcoran, Adriana Huffington, women who influence the world.

WHY I CHOSE THIS CAREER:

I chose this career because I am passionate about helping other people. It is always been a mission to help others succeed.

HOW I PREPARE FOR SUCCESS:

I meditate every day and give my list of gratitude and appreciation. I open my mind to accepting any milestone of success whether big or small. I also keep my self-grounded and value all that I receive.

DID YOU WRITE A BUSINESS PLAN? WAS IT AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR YOU?

I wrote a business plan, however, it is not always a solid blueprint in stabilizing your business. It is there to guide for you but it is not something you set in stone. Things can change from when you start, execute, etc.
