TELL ME ABOUT YOUR CURRENT BUSINESS. WHAT ARE YOU DOING EXACTLY?

I am a Spiritual Soul Coach. Where I assist people in their process of healing their soul from past traumas.

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR BUSINESS IDEA?

Well, it came to me through friends and family members. I would listen to their stories and give advice or I could feel what they are going through even though they would not say anything. I could feel their pain.

WHAT WERE YOU DOING BEFORE THIS, AND IS THIS YOUR FIRST BUSINESS?

This is my first business ever and before this business, I was working as a Doctors Assistant.

WHAT SPECIFIC ADVICE WOULD YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG WOMEN WHO WOULD LIKE TO BECOME AN ENTREPRENEUR?

My specific advice to younger ladies wanting to become an entrepreneur would be: Don’t be afraid to fail, failure is a manner of growth. It just means you have to go back to the drawing board and bring your A-game back. All great entrepreneurs have failed at some point.

MY GREATEST OBSTACLE AND HOW DID YOU DEALT WITH IT:

My greatest obstacle was my insecurity. I am not used to be in the spotlight, and I can question myself; If I  am a good coach to others. People are trusting me with their deepest traumas and secrets. BUT I fought my insecurities and told myself that we are not going to believe any lies that my ego is telling me, and I forced myself to overcome my fears.

MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

My proudest accomplishments are to see my clients make progress, and when they make the step to step out of their minds to heal themselves. Secondly, my biggest accomplishment is that I will be one of the speakers on the 28th of March at an event named Mind Body Soul in Amsterdam.

HOW I BLEND LIFE AND WORK TO CREATE THE LIFE I WANT:

For now, blending life and work are going smoothly for now (lol). My children are older so that makes it a bit easier. Maybe in 6 months, everything will change. However, all will go I am definitely going to enjoy every step of this journey!

I AM INSPIRED BY:

I am inspired by entrepreneurs who have started from the bottom and who are moving up. Those who have overcome the struggles, rejections, the naysayers. Those are my inspirations and my children they inspire me to become the best version of myself every single day.

WHY I CHOSE THIS CAREER:

I didn’t choose this career, rather it chooses me and for that, I am very humbled and blessed.

HOW I PREPARE FOR SUCCESS:

Every single day I am thankful for this chance. I believe in manifestos and affirmations, so I try to do it every day to become successful. Being successful is not about being rich for me, it is really being happy with what you love to do. And believing that success is on her way to me.

DID YOU WRITE A BUSINESS PLAN? WAS IT AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR YOU?

I am working on it right now. I believe it can be an effective tool for my business.

ARE THERE SPECIFIC ADVANTAGES, DISADVANTAGES TO BEING A WOMEN BUSINESS OWNER?

Yes, globally women have to work harder to prove themselves in being an entrepreneur, but thank God more women are becoming entrepreneurs.
