Hey, hey loves, how’s your spirit? How’s your heart? How have you been spending your time?
I’ve been working a lot, and as some of you might know, I work as a digital marketing manager and recently taking on several freelance assignments, all within digital marketing. Like SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics dashboards, and the list goes on and on. So it’s been fun and quite exciting. But I have yet to find a way in how to balance it all out. So far, I have to say it’s been going well.

Last week I had a holiday to enjoy the quiet immensely. Resting a bit more, catching up on some reading, listening to podcasts and of course, feeding my soul at the beach. In a recent conversation with my cousin, she asked me: “What are the positive things that the lockdown/pandemic period has brought you?” Well, I must say I thought this to be an excellent question as there is certainly a positive side to this period. And though I will answer the question on my blog as well. But before doing so, I want to point out that I am well aware that many people are having a hard time during these trying and chaotic times. Undoubtedly the pandemic/lockdown has been stressful for everyone. But I am sharing this in the hopes that it will provide some positivity to those who need it.

Some of my positive findings during the pandemic:
1. That being and walking in The Netherlands can be just as beautiful as it is abroad.
2. I am discovering and rediscovering my hobbies.
3. How happy I can be from reading a good book, watching online theatre shows and online comedy shows.
4. Learning to focus on my family rather than giving all of my focus on my work (yes, you are reading that right I can be somewhat of a workaholic).
5. I am finding beauty every day in nature and how happy it makes me. I also go for a walk every day during my lunch break.
6. Being more minimalistic, enjoying everything you have and not worried about what you don’t have.
